Pakistan’s First BTT & SQE Institute
Raising the standard of Pakistan's legal profession.
Lincoln Law was built by lawyers who reached the top — and came back to change what was possible for everyone else. Based in Karachi. Built for Pakistan.
Insights & Guides
Built by those who lived the gap.
Pakistan produces some of the most capable legal minds in the world. And yet, for decades, the path to international recognition — to the titles and credentials that command global respect — has been unclear, inaccessible, or simply unknown.
Haider Waheed and Shahab Sarki spent decades at the Supreme Court of Pakistan. They saw talented lawyers plateau not because of ability, but because of the absence of structured pathways to the qualifications that matter internationally.
Lincoln Law is their answer. Pakistan’s first institute dedicated entirely to preparing lawyers for the Bar Transfer Test and the Solicitors Qualifying Examination — the two credentials that turn Pakistani legal talent into globally recognised professionals.
This is not a general law school. It is a focused, practitioner-led institute built for one purpose: to give Pakistan’s lawyers the credentials, clarity, and mentorship they have always deserved.

— Our Mission
"We built Lincoln Law to raise the standard of Pakistan's legal profession and give every lawyer the credibility to lead with confidence."

— The Founders
Practitioners first. Educators by choice.
Lincoln Law is led by two of Pakistan’s most experienced Supreme Court advocates. They built this institute not because they had to — but because the gap was too significant to ignore.
Haider Waheed
Co-Founder · Supreme Court Advocate of Pakistan
With decades of practice at the apex of Pakistan’s legal system, Haider brings the courtroom depth and institutional knowledge that defines Lincoln Law’s BTT programme. He has seen — firsthand — how far the right credential can take a Pakistani lawyer, and built Lincoln Law to make that path accessible to every qualified professional who deserves it.

Shahab Sarki
Co-Founder · Supreme Court Advocate of Pakistan
Decades at the Supreme Court gave Shahab a clear view of what separates good lawyers from recognised ones. A practitioner turned educator, he drives Lincoln Law’s SQE programme and its broader mission — building the mentorship infrastructure and structured pathways that he never had access to when he was starting out.
— A Note from the Founders
“We’ve spent decades at the top of Pakistan’s legal profession and have seen how hard it is for talented lawyers to get mentorship, global exposure and the respect they deserve. We didn’t have to build Lincoln Law. But seeing the gap, we couldn’t ignore it.
Lincoln Law is our answer: a community where lawyers learn from proven practitioners, gain a global perspective and earn credentials that command respect. Our goal is simple: empower every lawyer to be recognised, respected and ready to lead with confidence.“

— The Problem We Solve
Three things that were missing.
01
No Clear Pathway
Pakistan’s best lawyers had no structured, reliable route to internationally recognised UK qualifications. The BTT and SQE existed — but no institution in Pakistan was built to prepare students for them. Lincoln Law is that institution.
02
No Practitioner Mentorship
Legal education in Pakistan is largely academic. What was missing was teaching from lawyers who practise at the highest level — who know what the Bar actually demands, not just what the textbooks say. Lincoln Law’s faculty are active practitioners, not just lecturers.
03
No Global Ambition
Talented Pakistani lawyers were being held back by geography and access — not ability. Lincoln Law was built to close that gap: to give every qualified lawyer in Pakistan a legitimate, structured route to the credentials that command respect anywhere in the world.
— The Team
Led by practitioners. Driven by purpose.
Every person at Lincoln Law — from leadership to faculty — was chosen for one reason: they have lived the legal profession at a level that makes them worth learning from.
